May be we need to think beyond Jasleen Kaur's case

A girl posts a pic of the guy on social media who molested her. Everyone went crazy so did I. Now the other side of the story is getting out. And, the discussions going around seriously make me sick. Suddenly, the matter has taken a political twist. Our ever irresponsible media is cashing on the story as it has all ingredients like drama, twist, feminism, women empowerment and the most important politics.

Dear guys if you really believe that feminists are going crazy and feminism is a threat for poor guys I would recommend you to stop wanking alone in your dark room and come out see the real world. “Feminists are going crazy” this argument may look intellectual in media discussions and college debates but in real world this makes as much sense as Salman’s movie does. Whenever I hear that men are getting harassed more than women I look around and see no men in my social circle ever got harassed. No men in my circle were ever groped in crowded places including me nor did any woman ever stare at my body part. In fact we men don’t even think of getting raped when we go out late in the evening or when we explore a secluded place. But sadly most of my female friends, sisters and colleagues have experienced the above. A woman may sue you in a dowry case but irrespective of the court decision the society will only accept man’s second marriage. “My experiences will never stop me sharing pics on social media of guys suspected to be molesters

Coming back to Jasleen Kaur's case if the guy is not guilty definitely he will be free with all dignity. Therefore, there is no point crying over the poor guy being harassed. But maybe we are again passing a judgment too early. Well! Whatever the truth is I felt great when a social media pic went viral and police were forced to take action which rarely happens if one goes to file a FIR.
